Giri Foundation is a global Non Profit Organization that aims to uplift the lives of 1 million Himalayan women by 2026.

This goal will be achieved by the transformative process of empowering women through fnancial independence, and creating an ecosystem for women in remote areas, linking them to opportunities at their doorstep as well as providing them with a platform to connect with the world. Giri Foundation harnesses the passion and commitment of these women by providing training through relevant skill training institutes, focussing on business and fnancial literacy, management skills, and confidence building. The vision is to provide women with stable, sustainable employment or entrepreneurial opportunities, and broader market exposure with the overall aim of self-suffcient livelihood.

How we work

Enable Giri Skilling

We provide training opportunities to women. By partnering with relevant skill training institutes, focused on financial literacy, business and management skills, confidence building etc.

Connect Giri Demand

We ensure enhanced market access and business exposure by partnering with global and national brands. Bringing more opportunities to the doorstep of rural women entrepreneurs. We assure quality checks and maintain fair trade practices for women to earn more for the goods they are producing. We also help women market and brand their products.

Empower Giri Finance

To close the loop, we also provide financing opportunities to women through existing Government initiatives.
